1980年5月18日，韓國光州展開史上重要的民主抗爭運動，為爭取公民人權而示威奮鬥。三十年過去了，當年曾經炙熱燃燒的自由理想，當年曾經熱血狂放的年少學子，如今都已在歲月中平凡沉默…。勝者主宰歷史，敗者隱沒遺忘，透過導演的追訪紀錄，那些掩映在時代洪流中的理念與信仰，終於在影像的回顧照望中，一一重現。
It is 30th anniversary of the May 18 Gwangju Democratic Movement. Civilian fighters struggled until 27th of May 1980. Local market merchants supported them by providing food despite poor living conditions. Now they live a normal life but the memory influenced their life. Before the Movement, they were just young boys and girls but full of dreams.
