2010 羅馬電影節正式競賽

 

知名攝影師在西印度村莊裡拍下一張女人專注哺乳的照片，影像充滿底層生命力，登上頭版，結果竟引來滿城風雨，揭開村中女性受到性欺壓的不可告人秘密。女子受到排擠，困苦的生活更是雪上加霜，攝影師充滿愧疚，滿心想要彌補；但他越是靠近她，就越把她推向無底深淵…。這是一個義大利導演遠度重洋對印度女性議題的社會關懷，充滿人道主義的悲憫之心。

 

While reporting on tribal women in Purulia, Upin, a well-known Indian photo reporter, is transfixed by the breast of a woman named Gangor, glimpsed as she nurses her baby outdoors, and immortalizes her in a shot that lands on all the front pages. A scandal ensues and Gangor is ostracized, helpless against the men in the village...
