舞台上，伊恩杜利是放浪形骸的搖滾歌手；舞台下，自幼罹患小兒麻痺的他得靠拐杖與腿部支架才能行走自如，而搖滾樂與肉體殘疾成了他生命中不斷撞擊的光與影。本片以誇張諷刺手法，拼貼出1970年代英倫新浪潮樂派大將伊恩杜利的傳奇事蹟，《魔戒》咕嚕、《金剛》背後的靈魂人物安迪瑟克斯終於走到幕前，在片中使出渾身解數，唱作俱佳。
